Online Resources


We live in a time overflowing with sources of information. With so many information sources easily accessible, knowing where to start, sorting through it all and finding exactly what we want can be challenging and overwhelming! Try using one AOSR’s membership databases and you’ll save yourself the hassle of evaluating your source via the Internet. These resources are accessible by using a username and password. Accelerated Reader - allows students to take fun quizzes on books they have read. You can choose from four different types of quizzes: reading practice, vocabulary practice, literacy skills or textbook quizzes.

BrainPop - Brain Pop offers incredible resources such as movies, quizzes, time-lines, activity pages, and much more. Topics include Science, Math, Social Studies, English, Technology, Arts, Health and Music.  Discovery Education  - Provides thousands of  videos on practically every subject (math, biology, physics, literature etc..), audio files and images. http://www.discoveryeducation.com
 

 EBSCO - A collection of several databases for MS and HS students to help them with research needs on virtually every topic.  http://search.ebscohost.com/

TumbleBookCloud is an online collection of read-along titles for elementary, middle school, and high school students which features adjustable online text and complete audio narration.  www.TumbleBookCloud.com 


TumbleBookCloud Junior is a collection of ebooks and read-along chapter books, graphic novels, educational videos, and audio books designed specifically for elementary and middle schools. **Note:  Link is the same as for TumbleBook Cloud (above) - but login information provided by our library staff will take you to the "Junior" version.
