High School—Guiding Transformation with Two Roads to Higher Education

The High School at the American Overseas School of Rome is made up of over 220 students in grades 9-12, from a wide variety of national backgrounds. High school courses are run on a block schedule with four periods of 80 minutes each day. Students take seven or eight classes each year.

Small Classes and a System of Support

High school class sizes average twelve students, offering substantial individual attention from our teachers. Our faculty focuses on the use of consistent assessment to gauge student understanding and to best focus lessons for student growth.

Over 95% of our students attend competitive universities after graduation from AOSR and 100% of students are accepted into university.

A full time college counselor assists students in college application procedures.
