A Personalized Learning Experience
The Pre-K program at AOSR draws inspiration from the world-renowned Reggio Emilia approach. We focus on creating a stimulating and welcoming educational environment that nourishes curiosity, critical thinking skills, creativity and social emotional learning. We believe in the capabilities of each student and work daily to support the children as they reveal their full potential. Teachers observe carefully, reflect on individual interests and design provocations for inquiry-based exploration. Small class sizes ensure that teachers have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with each student.
Spaces that Inspire
The classroom environment is a key element in a Reggio Emilia inspired program. Natural furnishings and colors in classrooms filled with sunlight and plants encourage real-life, authentic interactions and provide a welcoming sense of belonging. Children’s creative work and projects fill the classroom providing a personalized space that documents the students’ learning and inspires ownership. Our age-appropriate outdoor spaces promote the development of gross motor skills, as well as collaborative, active play in nature.
